The experience acquired with the development and field implementation of monitoring systems further confirms the application of standard ISO 18674-1, underscoring the fact that “monitoring systems are part of an engineering process”, thus allowing to collect useful data to improve the final project and maintenance process of the work.

Hence, FIELD designs, implements and manages simple and complex geotechnical, structural and hydrometeorological monitoring systems. It provides technical assistance for existing monitoring systems for maintenance, modification, reconfiguration and implementation activities.

FIELD implements projects for monitoring systems by drawing up technical and administrative reports, such as:

• civil technical drawings;
• detailed construction reports;
• wiring and single-line diagrams;
• block diagrams;
• technical reports;
• specifications;
• metric calculations.

FIELD wants to be an active player in a new Culture for the definition and development of systems and models that help Clients analyse and evaluate the actual conditions of infrastructures, to define the residual life, if necessary, and schedule maintenance interventions.
